Mentor Application
We are constantly in need of Mentors.
Approved LetterNetwork Mentors are:
- Spiritually and emotionally mature
- Willing to comply with guidelines about confidentiality
- Able to commit to at least two years (approximately one letter per month) to an assigned child
- Have legible printed hand writing or access to a printer for printing letters
If you meet these requirements and want to apply as a Mentor, just download and complete the application forms.
The
Mentor Application includes instructions.
After you submit an
Application, we'll review it and assign a Mentor ID once you are approved.
If you want to be a Mentor and are in the United States or Canada, complete the US Mentor application forms and send them to the US LetterNetwork office.
If you are in South Africa, complete the South Africa Mentor application forms and send them to the South African LetterNetwork office.

Mentors are not required to make a financial obligation, however they can provide funds to help cover the costs
of mailing to and from their assigned child.
Note:
You may need to install the free Adobe PDF Reader software to open and print the application materials.
You can download the Reader in a version suitable for your computer by clicking the box below.
There is no charge for the Reader and you'll only have to install
the reader software one time on your computer.
